María Clara Iturralde is a lawyer who graduated from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito and holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law with an emphasis on new technologies from the Universitat de Valencia. She has served as a Data Protection Officer and also holds an International Data Protection Certification organized by the Spanish Association of Privacy (APEP) and the Latin American Association of Privacy (ALAP). She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Ecuadorian Chamber of Innovation and Technology (CITEC), and has participated as a speaker in several webinars related to personal data protection.

María Clara has advised national and international companies from various business sectors on the implementation of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection for over two and a half years. Her experience ranges from adapting companies to the LOPDP to providing specialized and continuous support in personal data protection. Additionally, she provides advisory services to companies in the telecommunications sector.
